Saturday Late

My Words, Mama hurt herself again, getting into the tub, hurt her leg, the only good thing was that it was easy to clean up. I gave her her shower, then bandaged her leg, I used the blow dryer on her hair, and helped her to get dressed.

She took a Tylenol and I gave her a second cup of coffe while I took the Fluffy dog for a short walk. It is rather cold today, not like Thursday last when so much of the snows melted. I suppose that was the January thaw.

I have so many projects in the planning stage, it should keep me busy for the rest of the winter. Trouble is to get motivated and actually do these thing. I enter my project in the summer fairs, Williamstown Fair, the Chesterville Fair, the Avonmore Fair and even the one in Newington. I have a slew of ribbons and have won some prizes.

I was often told that I had Golden Hands, and so it seems. I like to these different crafts and I make many, many mittens for the children, give them to the Snowsuit Fund. I also make the matching hats and scarves. I often wonder if they are appreciated. Well, one throws one's bread upon the water, etc,etc.

January, midnight

My Words,It was a good day after the storm of yesterday. Cleaned off the car while Fluffy enjoyed the snow and the sunshine.

Went to get 3 things at the grocery store and came back with 6 bags of stuff. Why does one do that, one cannot seem to control oneself in that store. There is always some thing that one forgets. Such as, silver polish, now, that was not on my list, but walking by, I realized that it was needed, etc, etc.

Mom is not feeling too bad today. Nyra dropped by, in her dressing gown and with her walker. She is feeling better, had a cold for the holiday. We are expecting Marc and Ginette tomorrow. That will please Mama.

I talked to my Brian, he is well and so are his girls, he says that they have lost one of the hats I had knitted for the girls, but my Mom wants a picture anyway. So, he will photograph each child with the remaining hat. That should do it.

January Day

My Words,I am taking Mom out today, first time in about a month, the weather has been bad and it has been hard to schedule an outing. We are going to Joey's Only Fish Restaurant. This is one of her favorites.

Fluffy had a seizure this morning, she is epileptic. She recovered all right, it has been a while since she had one. It frightens me every time, but in the past she has not had a seizure more then about twice or threee times a year.

Had a good Christmas, my brothers Peter and Marc both dropped in, Peter for 3 days. It was good to have his company.
