Saturday Garage Sale Day,

My Words,Mom turned 91 on the 17th of this month. We ended up with 2 Birthday cakes, I had bought one and our friends from cottage 12 came with a cake as well. We are now at the cottage on the island and the view of the St Lawrence Seaway is magnificent as usual.
It was easier to go to the cottage as it it just 20 minutes from our apartment in Cornwall, so this time it was a breeze. Mom is happy, to look at the wildlife, ( we have picture windows) to sit on the balcony and to hear the rain on the roof.
Will write more later.

Mother's day,

My Words,She did not call, send a card nor come to visit, that last child of mine. But why should I be surprised, she does not acknowledge Christmas, holiday nor my birthday and if she remembers later, it is Sorry Mom, I forgot.

I brought up an ungrateful child, Brian remembers to at least send me an E-mail, little enought. I suppose, but I have always told him to care for his family first, his two girls come first.

I took my mom to church, then we went to the Ramada Inn for a Mother's day brunch, and the dinning room was quient, just a mama likes it. After that we came home as Mama had reached the limit of her strength. Mom will be 91 on the 17th of May.

In the evening, Mama received phone calls from all of my siblings. And Jim and Diane had sent cards.
